Review:
“Sadly , we just checked out of Raffles Bali , after an 8 day stay. I hope my review , will influence people to stay at Raffles Bali. We felt like we were leaving family. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with beautiful smiles , with such authentic thoughtfulness and generosity, throughout our stay. They know what you need, before you need it. The ambiance , is quiet understated relaxed luxury , tranquil and peaceful. Personal Butler, takes care of all your needs. It is the best personalized service we have ever experienced. Room: Hill top villa with a spectacular view of the ocean. The bed was so comfy. The linens were high quality. Choosing the type of pillow , added to a perfect nights sleep. Touches such as automatic drapes , evening tea and snack left in the room each night, at turn down service, basket of fresh fruit every day , added another layer of pampering. We were pleased with the level of privacy. Food: We are seasoned travellers and foodies. All our meals both at Rumari and Loloan were amazing. The high quality ingredients are 80 percent locally sourced. Each dish looks visually beautiful, and a myriad of flavours unravel in your mouth, with every bite. Clearly, each menu has been well thought out, and emphasizes the incredible talent of the Chef Gaetan and his team. Undoubtedly, this is Michelin star quality.” Maya D (TripAdvisor)

“We had the most amazing stay at the Laguna. Besides it being stunning in every way, the staff are the absolute making of this hotel. Every single interaction we had was delightful. The team make it clear they sincerely want you to have a perfect stay, nothing is too much trouble, and they provide exceptional service whilst being the right level of informal and friendly. The hotel is clean, perfectly maintained and beautiful in terms of greenery. The salt pools are so plentiful that it never feels busy. Same goes for the beach, beds are spaced out so you’re not on top of each other and we never had a problem getting a spot. The spa is divine, treatments amazing, I loved my massage therapist Mersi so much I booked her again! Concierges were helpful and informative and really made you feel like nothing was too much trouble. Food was delicious everywhere we ate at the hotel, with great selection to choose from. We loved renting the bicycles too, so fun! 5 star all day long. Dream of a holiday and would go back in a heartbeat!” Katie W (TripAdvisor)

Review:
“Never have I stayed at a hotel that offered such a personalized, luxury service as when I stayed at Capella Ubud. We travelled as a couple for 5 nights in April 2025. Firstly the grounds are a beautiful tropical rainforest, with each hut nestled in the trees. All beautifully landscaped of course. The architecture and art within each hut is unique but all cohesive. I really appreciated the designs and furnishings. It’s a dream. It all started even before the trip. They reached out with a consultation email offering the “Capella curates” activities and other suggestions. Together we tailored a customized itinerary. During our conversations I mentioned that I wanted to buy carved wooden figurines, and they suggested hiring a car for a few hours. I did not take that suggestion BUT they still remembered. As we were returning from another paid excursion (Mt Batur sunrise) the guide brought up my shopping desire and suggested that we stop along the way at a few places she knew – all of this without me prompting it, from an email conversation a week prior and with no extra charge!! Amazing! They also organized us for a stop at waterfalls because we were chatting about it in the car. I also didn’t have any IDR on me but again no problem. They paid (and sure charged it to my room with a 5% loading but I didn’t mind). This extra service was not only that trip. On another excursion the driver and I were chatting about batik, and he suggested places to stop along the way.” David N (TripAdvisor)
Capella Ubud offers a soul-stirring experience that invites you to step away from the ordinary and into the wild heart of Bali. If you’re planning a honeymoon in Bali, maybe you can surprise your partner by booking a stay here - trust me, they’ll love it.

“From the moment we stepped into The Nirjhara, we knew we had found something truly special. This gem is a perfect blend of luxury, nature, and serenity. We stayed in a Canopy Suite, and it was absolutely breathtaking. The views from the bed and the upstairs balcony were stunning, with lush greenery stretching as far as the eye could see. One of our favorite features was the huge bathtub. The waterfall just off the pool is an absolute highlight—it created the most relaxing atmosphere, whether we were enjoying a meal, lounging by the pool, or drifting off to sleep with the soothing sounds of cascading water. The setting is straight out of a dream, surrounded by lush rice fields and vibrant greenery, with the beach just 2 km away. Plus, Tanah Lot is just a short drive or bicycle ride away, and it’s absolutely worth visiting for its breathtaking oceanfront temple and stunning sunsets. A unique and thoughtful touch was the customizable bathroom amenities—at check-in, we got to choose our preferred scent, making our stay feel even more personal and luxurious. What really stood out was how the staff referred to us by name everywhere we went—it made us feel truly valued and at home. The attention to detail throughout the resort is impeccable, from the beautifully designed rooms to the warm and attentive service.” Sarah (TripAdvisor)

Review:
“This resort truly embraces nature and offers a paradise-like experience that captures the essence of Bali. What stood out the most was the rooftop pool and restaurant — a setting so unique that it’s hard to find anything quite like it anywhere else on the island. Being able to enjoy such a stunning view while swimming was absolutely unforgettable. Honestly, this alone makes the stay well worth it. While the location is a bit remote, insects are inevitable due to the natural surroundings, and the bathroom layout could be improved, these are minor drawbacks compared to the overall experience. The facilities and ambiance far exceed expectations, and I would highly recommend staying here at least one night during your trip to Bali.” MinwK (Google Review)

Review:
“We stayed two nights in their pool suite. The room was luxurious with a private pool. The hotel was not very crowded and the staff’s service was excellent. The hotel is well located and not far from the town’s main square (palace and monkey forest road), where there is a variety of shopping and restaurants to savour. Como’s speciality Italian restaurant, Cucina, is a must-try. Their poolside bar offers an interesting range of cocktails and a selection of Indonesian street food (the chicken satay with peanut sauce was exquisite). Their breakfast is served by a pond full of colourful fish. We treated ourselves to their signature sambhal massage at their spa and thoroughly enjoyed it. The resort is green and lush with vegetation.” Aswin V (TripAdvisor)

“I just had the most amazing stay at Potato Head in Bali! The vibe is super relaxed, and it’s right on the beach, which makes it the perfect spot to unwind. Honestly, the room was everything – spacious, comfy, and so stylish with a view that made waking up a total dream. I loved how they blended modern design with a tropical feel. It felt so cozy and made me want to just hang out in the room all day! The staff were all so welcoming and friendly, always making sure I was taken care of. Review:
“There is something special about Bisma Eight, and I agree it's in part the people who work here. Communication was clear and proactive, starting even before the visit, with much attention to detail. From the receptionist, bellhop, facilities, housekeeping, restaurant staff, transport, and security, everyone was so warm and welcoming. They also seemed to get along with each other which was so nice to see. While being centrally located, the hotel is a contrast to the busy streets outside. It is tucked away with a built-in jungle, which makes it so calming as it feels embedded in nature, especially with all the natural materials used in the suites. I picked up a bottle of Soffell just in case, but they also provide herbal mosquito repellent which helps relieve itchy bites. The a la carte breakfast was plenty generous, and they confirmed they use filtered water/ice. At the suggestion of another reviewer, we booked airport pick up and were glad we did. Our driver was Ngurah, and he skillfully and carefully navigated the busy roads to Ubud. We ended up booking him for the remainder of our Bali trip for sightseeing. We were able to discuss the itinerary with Ayu at front desk prior, which was helpful in planning how much could be done in a day. Other team members also gave helpful suggestions to try to make the most of our short trip. I unfortunately didn't catch their names but they were much appreciated!” SB Dots (TripAdvisor)
Bisma Eight is where contemporary design meets timeless tranquillity. It is a hidden gem that feels like home in the heart of Bali’s cultural soul.

“We stayed at Ulun Ubud Resort & Spa for five nights during the 2025 New Year, and it was a wonderful experience. The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. We ordered room service several times, and the food was amazing—especially the lava cake and pizza! Our stay included free breakfast, but we never got to try it since we were out early every morning for tours and returned late at night, prioritizing sleep. The only downside was the number of stairs, which felt overwhelming on the first day. We had to call reception for assistance, and they promptly sent someone to guide us. Unfortunately, our schedule didn’t allow us to use the swimming pool or bathtub, but the overall experience was fantastic. We highly recommend Ulun Ubud for anyone looking for a relaxing retreat in Ubud!” Ahmed (Google Review)

“Wow! This place did not disappoint. Each staff member I encountered was incredibly cordial, gracious and hospitable. The welcome package is generous and indeed does make you feel welcome: daily cocktail in the restaurant, daily breakfast provided to your room if desired, 15 min welcome massage, and a free cycle class. The property itself is immaculate with a beautiful layout and even more beautiful spaces. The villa I stayed in was expansive, comfortable, and quite relaxing despite the noise you can hear from outside the property late into the night. The spa staff were all very kind and professional, and the stress meltdown massage I received was so soothing - all made increasingly more enjoyable with the post-massage cup of tea. The co-working lounge was spacious and comfortable to work in, though my wifi kept going in and out. The restaurant staff were all very hospitable and polite, and the live music on Sunday night was absolutely beautiful. I wish I had stayed more than one night here, but I will definitely be returning next time I visit Bali!” Taylor Lee (Google Review)

Review:
“We loved staying at Abian Klumpu Villa and Spa. The room's design was authentically Balinese, with high ceilings that gave a sense of spaciousness. The pictures on the website matched the reality - it was like a little oasis. The rooms were also impeccably clean, and the breakfasts were great! The staff at Abian were exceptional in their friendliness and attentiveness. They couldn’t do enough to help, and I must give a special thanks to Edi and Asti – they were truly amazing. The Abian is about a 15-20 minute walk to the beach, and it was enjoyable to stroll past the many shops, warung’s, spas, and laundries along the way. We indulged in a spa treatment at the Abian every day; the prices were reasonable and comparable to the many spas and wellness centres outside. I will definitely be returning to Abian Klumpu Villa and Spa.” Lynda R (TripAdvisor)
Abian Klumpu is easily one of the top budget resorts in Bali. It is ideal for couples and solo travellers seeking affordable comfort near the beach.
