What Is DigiLocker?

Documents You Can Use From DigiLocker For Passport

4. A pop-up will appear; log in to your DigiLocker account using your Aadhaar or mobile number.

Currently, physical passports themselves are not "issued" as downloadable documents inside DigiLocker in the same way an Aadhaar card is. However, you can store a scanned copy in your "Issued" or "Uploaded" section for your own records.

If your passport has expired, you may need to follow the passport renewal process before applying again. DigiLocker will be equally useful during that reissue process to prove your updated details.
