*M**HCND/PUB 10 29 April 2022* *Dear Sir/Madam,* *Business/Tourist Visa requirements for Mauritius* The High Commission acknowledges receipt of your email dated 29 April 2022 on the above mentioned subject. You may wish to note that holder of Indian Passport does not need to apply for Business/Tourist visa before travelling to Mauritius. Visa will be issued at the Airport on arrival in Mauritius provided: (i) hold a passport which is valid beyond the intended period of stay; (ii) hold valid return passage ticket to travel back to their country of origin or residence; (iii) Holds a Health Insurance covering COVID-19; (iv) are eligible to re-enter their country of origin or residence, (re-entry visa should be valid for three months as from date of departure from Mauritius); (v) have adequate funds to meet the cost of stay (minimum of 100 US dollars per night); (vi) have confirmed hotel booking or sponsorship for accommodation; (vii) do not engage in any gainful activities; and (viii) are not a prohibited immigrant. *Kindly note that visa is free of cost.* You may note that RT PCR Test is not required before departure for Mauritius.
