We poll every official Schengen visa portal multiple times per minute. New slots usually land on this page within 60 seconds of being released by VFS, BLS, TLS, or the embassy directly. The "Live" badge next to a country means at least one application center has an open slot right now. If you're tracking a destination, Atlys will also push a notification the moment a new date opens up.

Which Schengen countries tend to have the earliest slots from UK?

Can I book the slot directly from this page?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Pick a destination, city, and date, then tap "Book this appointment" . You'll go into the Atlys Schengen flow where you add travellers, upload documents, and we handle the final booking with the official portal. Slots reserved via Atlys are held during your application — no more refreshing the VFS site at midnight.

Why do some countries show "No slots"?

A country shows "No slots" in one of three cases: Every application center in that country is fully booked for the foreseeable window There's no VFS / BLS / TLS partner in UK for that country (e.g. some smaller embassies) The portal is temporarily down for maintenance We keep tracking in the background — check back in a few hours, or pick a different Schengen country on the card grid above.

How many travellers can I book on one slot?

Accepted Answer

Most VFS centers allow 1-5 applicants on the same appointment. Use the Travellers stepper in the filter bar — we'll only show centers that can accommodate your group on a single slot. Larger groups may be split across consecutive time windows at the same center.

Question 6

Does the purpose of visit affect slot availability?

Accepted Answer

It can. Centers sometimes have separate queues for Tourism, Business, and Visiting Friends/Relatives (VFR). Switch the Purpose filter to see the right queue — a slot that's full for tourism may still be open for business, especially close to peak travel season.
