The Ministry of Foreign Affairs states that you must prove that you have a minimum of 20,000 Baht or around INR 43,000 per person. If you plan to travel with your family, you need a minimum of 40,000 Baht or INR 87,000. You can provide recent bank statements, pay slips, or a sponsorship letter.

You must select the embassy that falls under your jurisdiction for easy application. Once you have selected the Thailand embassy or consulate, you can download the visa application form.

Now all you must do is gather the required documents and fill out the application form to submit at the nearest visa application center or VAC. This is because you cannot directly apply at the Thai embassy or consulate in India. Additionally, you must also pay for the Thailand visa fees.

Similar to the standard visa application, you can also apply for your e-VOA for Indians via VFS. Applying For Thailand Visa On Arrival For Indians

Thailand visa on arrival for Indians is available to Indians at the international airports or checkpoints in Thailand. Indian citizens must gather and carry all the documents to get their VOA.

To apply for Thailand Visa on arrival for Indians, you must queue at the immigration counter at the international checkpoint in Thailand; you must then present the required documents to the immigration officer, who will check and approve your visa.

You must also pay the 1000 Baht Thailand VOA fees at the immigration counter. Once the immigration officer has stamped the visa and entry stamp on your passport, you can enter the country.

However, remember that the immigration officer has all the right to deny you entry or reject your visa.


What Is Thailand Special Tourist Visa For Indians?

This other type of Thailand visa for Indians allows them to stay for up to 90 days. This visa is known as the Special Tourist Visa (STV). Some of the critical points of the Thailand Special Tourist Visa for Indians are:

  • It's a single entry permit that allows an extended stay in Thailand and can only be used for tourism purposes.
