Egypt Business Visa For Indians: How To Apply?

A passport valid for 6 months after your intended travel date.

An invitation letter from the Egypt-based entity.

Confirmed flight tickets.

Your bank statements for the last 6 months with the original signature and stamp of the bank.

Note that if you forget one of these documents, the visa processing time will be extended, or your visa will be denied.

First, determine the type of business visa (single or multiple entry) you need based on your purpose of travel. This may include attending meetings, conferences, or conducting business activities. 

Collect all the necessary documents for the Egypt business visa application mentioned earlier in this post.

Locate the nearest Egyptian Embassy or Consulate in India that handles visa applications. This information can be found on the official website of the Egyptian diplomatic mission or through online searches. 

You can also apply for a visa at an application centre near you, an embassy or consulate, or an authorized visa agent.

Check the Embassy's website or contact them directly to schedule an appointment for your visa application. Some Embassies may allow walk-ins, but having an appointment ensures a smoother process.

On the scheduled date, attend the visa interview at the Egyptian Embassy or Consulate. Bring all the required documents with you for submission and verification. Dress professionally and be prepared to answer questions related to your business purpose.

Submit your completed visa application form and all supporting documents to the Embassy officer during your appointment. You may be required to provide biometric data, such as fingerprints, as part of the visa application process.

Pay the Egypt business visa fee at the Embassy during your appointment. 

After submitting your application, the Embassy will process your visa. The processing time can vary, but it usually takes around 5-7 business days. 

Once your visa is approved, you will be notified by the Embassy. Collect your passport with the stamped visa from the Embassy or arrange for its delivery, depending on their procedures.

The duration of stay allowed on an Egypt business visa for Indians is 3 months, and it's a single-entry visa. However, you can also get a multiple-entry business visa for up to 6 months.

The Egypt business visa fee is around ₹ 5800 for a single-entry visa and ₹ 8100 for a multiple-entry visa, but fees may change, so it's best to check with the Embassy or Consulate.

Typically, it takes around 5-7 business days for processing. However, applying well before your travel date is recommended to account for any delays.
