Just a side note before I go through the application process: I did apply through the government website. However after completing the application, I received “Sorry there is an error”. I was then given a different platform to try. So, for the sake of efficiency, let’s go straight to the new portal website

    Visit the KSA Visa portal and click on the “Visit” option. State the purpose of your visit (Tourism), your nationality (Jordan), and which criteria you fall under to see if you are eligible for the evisa. If you are eligible for the evisa click on the “Electronic Visa Apply Now”.

    Provide all the required information. You will need to provide the details regarding your visa, personal, passport, and residency data.

    Upload the required documents. You will need to upload a digital passport photo that meets all the requirements. You will also need to upload your passport and residency proof.

    After completing all the required information and uploading the documents, read the terms and conditions and review your application.

    You will need to provide information regarding your medical insurance. Medical Insurance offers will be provided.

    You have made it to the final step, the visa payment. Your total visa fee will be demonstrated at the top of the page. When you are ready, click on “Pay Now”. You will then be directed to the payment page.

Tips When Applying Online:

    When submitting the passport photo online, the portal only allows the following formats: JPEG and PNG. The file size is 5 MB.

    Have all necessary documents, such as passport scans, photos, and supporting paperwork, ready before starting the online application.

    Apply through the official website or authorised platforms to avoid scams. 

    Keep an eye on the email address provided in your application for any communication or updates. 

    Complete the entire application in one session to avoid any issues related to session timeouts or data loss. Remember to do regular Saudi visa checks.

If you are not eligible for the evisa, do not worry. You can still apply for the tourist visa in person. Just follow these steps:
