How to Apply For Your Mexican Tourist Card

Forma Migratoria Multiple By Air

To apply for your Tourist Card ensure that your passport is valid and is not due to expire soon (no less than 6 months).

To fill out the application ensure that you are using a Firefox or Safari browser as the Chrome browser will not work.

Go to the Forma Migratoria Multiple application portal. You can find the link here

Please note that before you start to fill out the form you need to disable your pop-up blocker in your browser and be sure that you have downloaded and installed Adobe Reader. In addition, this form can't be filled on mobile - if on a mobile device, we recommend using Atlys.

It is important to note that fields that have a “*” are required fields. Be sure to fill out these fields as your form will not be submitted if you have not filled out these fields.

  1. Entry Information

All relevant information can be found on your flight itinerary. Be sure to recheck the information to avoid any small mistakes.

  1. Personal Information

Remember to add your full name (first and second name) in the Name(s) field. If you are unsure, you should always remember to use the same details as on your passport.

For example, if you’ve recently changed your legal name or surname, but this is not yet reflected on your passport, you must use the name on your passport. Failure to do so may result in you being denied entry into Mexico.

  1. Identification document

The information necessary can be found on your passport. The “Document number(Confirmation)” field is only to ensure that the information that you have inserted into the “Document number” is identical to the “Document number(Confirmation)” field.

  1. Place of residence

This refers to your current address where you are currently staying.

  1. Trip information

Enter information relevant to where you are going to stay once you have entered Mexico.

  1. Email

Ensure that you enter your correct email address and the correct verification code. If the verification code is difficult to read you can generate a new one instead of using the “Try another one” button.

After you have completed the form you can save the information that you have provided and download your application.

  • Once you have downloaded the application form it will look like this.

Forma Migratoria Multiple By Land

  • Because of land restrictions, this form can only be submitted after August 21, 2021.

The application process is exactly the same as the process for entry by air mentioned above. The only difference is when you start you should select the “By Land” option.
