Applying for your Oman visa through Atlys is a straightforward process. Here’s how you can apply:

Download the Atlys app and create your account. If you already have an account, you can sign in.

Search for your travel destination. There’s a search bar at the top of the screen where you can search for your visa.

Complete the visa application form and upload your documents.

Pay the visa fee and submit your Oman visa application.

You’ll receive real-time updates about the progress of your application. Once your visa is approved you’ll receive it digitally via email.

Checking your visa status through Atlys is simple. Here’s how:

Go to the Atlys app.

Click on the “Profile” button on the bottom right of the screen.

You’ll be able to see your visa status on the next screen.

Applying for a visa for Oman for US citizens is very straightforward, and the best part is you can apply from the comfort of your own home. Follow my step-by-step guide, and you'll have your Tourist Visa in no time.

Step 1: Access the Royal Oman Police (ROP) website to apply

To apply for an Oman Tourist Visa, you must first access the website you use to apply for your Oman Visit visa. You'll see at the bottom of the website an option to apply for a Tourist Visa; click on it.

Step 2: Create an account

Next, you need to create an account. You need to provide an email address, a password, and nationality. You will then need to verify your account through an email you'll receive. Through email, you can then start to apply.

Step 3: Apply for your visa

Click "Apply for visa" and "Apply for unsponsored visa." Then you need to provide information like your country of nationality.

Step 4: Choose your type of visa

Next, you need to choose which visa you want to apply for (single-entry or multiple-entry visas). You'll see you can click to apply for the visa on the far right.

Step 5: Start your visa application process

Finally, you can start with the Oman Visa application process. Now you need to provide all the necessary information like travel document details, your name, date of birth, and previous visa details.

Step 6: Attach all documents

Next, you must attach all the required travel documents like your passport, passport-size photo, and any other required documents.

Step 7: Pay the visa fees

The last step is to pay the visa fees. Again, the website offers a secure way for you to pay. I'll discuss the visa fees later in this post.

The standard visa processing time for the Oman e Visa is about 3 business days.

Therefore, I recommend you submit an Oman visa online application at least 4 business days before the intended entry to Oman.

The Oman visa price depends on the type of visa you apply for. You can expect to pay the following Oman visa fees:

The 10-year multiple entry visa costs OMR 50.000

The 5-year multiple entry visa costs OMR 50.000

A single entry visa for 30 days costs OMR 20,000

A 30-day multiple entry visa costs OMR 50.000

The validity of the Oman visa for US citizens depends on the visa type you apply for. The validity for each visa is:

10 Year visa. However, you can only stay a maximum of 6 months per entry.

5 Year visa. You can stay a maximum of 6 months on each entry.

30 day visa (single entry visa or multiple entry). You can stay a maximum of 30 days.
