The UAE is one of my favorite places. It's full of outstanding and breathtaking buildings. But do you wish you could experience the unique culture and food in the UAE? Well, now you can.
You can apply for a UAE Five-Year Multiple Entry Tourist Visa in just minutes; you can apply for an UAE online visa (eVisa). In this post, I'll cover everything you need to know about the multi-entry Visa for UAE (Dubai tourist Visa), including the UAE five-year multiple entry tourist visa application process, UAE online visa application, Dubai visa price, processing time and all you need to know about the Dubai tourist visa and the Dubai golden visa.
The United Arab Emirates' (UAE) Dubai five-year tourist visa lets tourists enter the country multiple times over five years on self-sponsorship; you can enter any place in the UAE, including Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
The Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICA) has opened the UAE visa application process and UAE online application process for all nationalities and foreign travelers who wish to apply for this type of Visa. Tourists can remain in the country for 90 days on each visit. In addition, visitors can use this UAE 5-year tourist visa to transit through any airport or port of entry in the UAE.
A UAE-registered tourist agency can issue a 30 or 90-day visa (single-entry tourist visa) that UAE visa price is between AED 300 to AED 600. A single entry UAE visa means you can only enter the UAE once for tourism purposes. However, the UAE will allow visitors to enter and stay for 60 days. The UAE Cabinet recently approved this decision.
The e-visa is only valid for 60 months from the date of issue, meaning you must travel to UAE within 60 days to validate the e-visa.
The stay period in the country can not exceed 90 days in one year. So, for example, you can stay in Dubai for 90 days.
In short, US citizens don't need a visa to travel to UAE for short periods at a time. All US citizens qualify for a UAE Visa On Arrival. However, you must have a round-trip ticket and a passport valid for more than six months to enter Dubai at any time. You can stay in the UAE with the Visa On Arrival for 30 days or less.
The five-year multiple-entry UAE visa is available for foreign nationals from all countries. To meet the eligibility requirements, you must provide a passport with six-month validity at the time of submission, a passport size photograph, medical insurance valid for the UAE, and a bank statement of the last six months with a minimum balance of $4,000. Applications undergo scrutiny and extensive review because it is a five-year multiple entry UAE visa.
You can apply directly on the ICA or GDRFA website (relevant information on the application process later in the post). You must ensure that the data you provide in your UAE visa application is correct while filling in all required fields. For example, you don't need proof of flight tickets or hotel booking for this category of UAE visa. However, you need to provide certain travel documents during your visa application.
Here are the four primary requirements set by the UAE Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship to apply for a five-year multiple-entry visa for UAE:
Remember that Atlys takes the hassle away and sorts out your required documents for you!
You might need to provide additional documents during your UAE 5-year multiple entry visa application. These documents can include a copy of your flight ticket and proof of residence, like an invitation letter from friends and family in the UAE, hotel bookings, or a lease agreement.
When you apply for a UAE visa, there'll be a place where you must provide your address in the UAE. This is where you put the address you'll live during your stay. If you're unsure whether you can put the address of the flat you're going to rent in the UAE, I recommend you contact your local UAE Embassy to be sure. This is only to help you so your visa application won't get denied.
The UAE 5-year visa or the Dubai 5-year Tourist Visa price is AED 650 plus a service fee of AED 50. However, these Dubai visa prices can change. Therefore, I recommend checking the Dubai visa prices before applying.
If you want to apply for the UAE or Dubai 5-year tourist visa from immigration departments in Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, Al Ain, and the Al Dhafra (Western region), you can do so on the ICA website.
The GDRFA will authorize the five-year multiple-entry tourist visas issued through Dubai. I'll give you a step-by-step guide so you can apply for your UAE Tourist Visa.
Access the ICA website to start your online UAE visa application. Once you access the website, click on "Public Services." This will give you a list of UAE visas you can apply for. The box that says "Visa-multiple entry-longterm (for 5 years) for all nationalities" is the Visa you want to apply for. Click on the "start service" option.
Next, you need to provide a bunch of information. There are 4 main categories of information you need to provide. These categories are applicant information (name and email), personal information for service beneficiaries (current nationality, country of birth, passport number, and type), address inside the UAE, and address outside the UAE.
Next, you must attach all the required travel documents I mentioned earlier. These documents include a copy of your valid passport, passport-size photograph, medical insurance, bank statements, and any other travel documents they might ask for.
You're almost done! Next, you need to review your application. This might seem like the easiest step, but it's a crucial step in reality. You must ensure that all the information and documents you gave are correct. If you leave out any documents or you made a mistake in the application form, it could slow down the application process.
The last thing you need to do before submitting your application is to pay the Dubai visa price. The online payment is secure, and you can pay with a credit card or a debit card. Then you can submit your application! The UAE 5-year tourist Dubai visa price is mentioned in this post.
They will process your UAE Visa online, and you will receive your five-year multiple-entry tourist visa for the UAE via your registered email. I recommend you print out the UAE visa just to be safe.
With an average of 2,000 tourist visa, Dubai applications are received by the UAE authorities every day. The visa processing time for the Visa takes around 5 – 6 business days. However, if you've applied through the ICA portal, you can track your visa status online by simply entering the request number and email address (used while registering).
It is up to the discretion of the immigration authority to award the Visa to the applicant or not. If your 5-year multiple-entry tourist visa application gets rejected, you will get an intimation stating why they rejected your application.
The most common reasons for visa rejections are:
If you want to extend your annual stay in the country for more than 90 days and a period not exceeding 180 days, you can submit a request to extend while still in the UAE.
You can extend your Visa through the ICA portal. The visa extension process is almost the same as the visa application process. Still, you choose to extend your Visa instead of applying for a new visa.
You can only renew your visit visa two times. After that, you will have a maximum of 60 days' extension. If you extend the Visa on the last day, you'll have to pay a fee of 100 AED. Therefore, you must ensure you have renewed your Visa even before it expires.
There is a 10-day grace period for UAE visas. This means that you have 10 extra days to leave the country or extend your Visa after your Visa expires. I recommend using your grace period to apply for your visa extension.
Overstaying the permitted stay in the UAE under a tourist visa attracts a fine of AED 100 each day of overstay. In addition, you must pay an additional fee for an exit permit on departure if you overstay.
The Dubai Visa (Dubai Visit Visa) requirements for US citizens are as follows:
