Visa on Arrival (VoA) Policy of Indonesia

Countries eligible for a B1 Standard Tourist Visa to enter Indonesia.

Travellers can obtain a Visa on Arrival (VoA) at select airports, seaports, and land border crossings across Indonesia. This visa permits a maximum stay of 30 days, starting from the date of arrival, regardless of the time of entry.

Visa on Arrival (VoA) Requirements

To obtain a Visa on Arrival in Indonesia, travellers must meet the following conditions:

  • Hold a passport valid for at least six (6) months from the date of entry

  • Present a return or onward ticket as proof of planned departure

  • For official government visits, an invitation letter must be provided, issued by the relevant Indonesian Ministry, Department, or Institution

  • Pay a fee of IDR 500,000 (USD 35) payable by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, or JCB).
