What are the Thailand entry requirements for visa-exempt countries? 

Please note that starting from May 1, 2025, all foreign visitors to Thailand must complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) at least three days before arrival. Apart from TDAC, you will require the following documents to enter  Thailand:

• Passport Validity: Hold a passport from an eligible country with at least six months of validity remaining.

• Purpose of Visit: Enter Thailand strictly for tourism, business engagements, urgent work, or ad-hoc work.

Can I extend my visa-free stay in Thailand? 

The initial 60-day stay can be extended once for an additional period not exceeding 30 days at the discretion of the Thai immigration office for an extension fee.

What are the immigration requirements for Thailand?

During the immigration process upon arrival in Thailand, immigration officers may ask you to present certain documents to verify that you are a genuine tourist. Preparing the right paperwork can help ensure a smooth and hassle-free entry. Some of the key documents you may be asked to show include:

• Passport: A valid passport with at least 6 months of validity remaining

• Flight bookings: Confirmed return or onward travel ticket (not open-ended)
