The visa processing time may differ, but it takes approximately 3-4 working days for them to process the visa before its issuance, excluding Saturday, Sunday, and any UAE Holiday. Additionally, for express visa applications, the processing time is 36 hours from the time of submission, excluding Saturday, Sunday, and any UAE Holiday.

When Should You Apply For A Dubai Visit Visa In Pakistan?

You should apply for your visa well in advance. Pakistani citizens must start their visa application process at least 14 days in advance of their departure date if applying through the embassy’s Consular section.

The Consular Section in the embassy is open between 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Monday to Friday in Pakistan.

If applying through the Emirates website, the visa processing could take more than 3 working days. You should apply for your Dubai tourist visa as soon as you have all the documents.

All the applicants are requested to submit their requests for visas to the Visa Section between:

Validity Of Dubai Tourist Visas For Pakistani Citizens

Depending on your plan, UAE tourist visas are valid for 30 or 90 days, single entry or multiple entries. Recently, the UAE facilitated a five-year visa that enables tourists to enter numerous times on self-sponsorship. Applicants can remain in the country for 90 days on each visit, which you can extend for another 90 days.

  • 48-Hours Dubai Visa For Pakistani: For travelers that have a stopover or layover in Dubai can apply for this visa. This visa is valid for 48 hours for a single entry and exit. And valid to be used for 48 hours within 30 days from the date of issue. Usually, this visa is used by business travelers.

  • 96-Hours Dubai Visa For Pakistani: For travelers that have a stopover or layover in Dubai can apply for this visa. This visa is valid for 96 hours for a single entry and exit. And valid to be used for 96 hours within 30 days from the date of issue. Usually, this visa is used by business travelers.

  • 14-Day Single Entry Visa: This is a 14-day Dubai visit visa for Pakistani citizens valid for a single entry. You can enter and exit once and stay in the country for 14 days(including entry and exit date) from the date of issue. The validity of the visa starts from the date of issuance, and you can stay within the country for a maximum of 14 days during the validity period.

  • Short-Term Single Entry Visa: This is a 30 days Dubai visit visa for Pakistani citizens valid for a single entry. You can enter and exit once and stay in the country for 30 days(including entry and exit date) from the date of issue. The validity of the visa from the date of issuance is 58 days, and you can stay within the country for a maximum of 30 days. You can also extend this visa from within Dubai.

  • Short-Term Multiple Entry Visa: This is a 30 days tourist visa in Dubai valid for multiple entries. You can enter and exit multiple times and stay in the country for 30 days(including entry and exit date) for each entry until the visa expires. For each entry, you can stay within the country for a maximum of 30 days. You can also extend this visa from within Dubai.

  • Long-Term Single Entry Visa: This is a 90 days tourist visa in Dubai valid for a single entry. You can enter and exit once and stay in the country for 90 days(including entry and exit date) from the date of issue. The validity of the visa starts from the date of issuance, and the expiry date will be mentioned on your visa.

  • Long-TermMultiple Entry Visa: This is a 90 days tourist visa in Dubai and is valid for multiple entries. You can enter and exit multiple times and stay in the country for 90 days(including entry and exit date) from the date of issue. The validity of the visa starts from the date of issuance, and the expiry date will be mentioned on your visa.

Can Pakistani Extend Their Dubai Tourist Visa?

Yes. Pakistani citizens can extend their visas from within Dubai. Both 30 days tourist visa and 90 days tourist visa can be extended twice. The first extension is allowed for 30 days, and the second extension is for 20 days after the expiry of the current visa.

Visitors and tourists can extend their visa by applying and paying AED 850 Dubai tourist visa price each time of renewal. Visa overstayers who do not renew will have to pay AED 100 fine for each day of their overstay, calculated from 10 days after the visa expiry.
