What documents do I need for the Qatar e-visa?

You only need a few documents when you apply for your e-visa through Atlys. This is because Atlys works with government partners and completes other required forms for you. The documents you need are:

  • A copy of your passport’s front page.

  • A copy of your passport’s back page.

  • Digital photo.

How early should I apply for my Qatar visa?

Applying for your Qatar visa at least 1 week before travel is advised.

Can I check my Qatar visa status online?

Yes, you can easily see the status of your Qatar visa on the Atlys app:

What happen if my visa is denied?

If your visa application is rejected, you can reapply. When doing so, ensure that all documents are correct and accurate. Visa fees must be paid again since the government and online portals do not provide refunds. Fortunately, when applying through Atlys, you are guaranteed a refund if your visa is denied, up to ₹8000 or $100. This refund excludes service fees.

Do I need travel insurance when applying for a Qatar visa?

No, travel insurance is not mandatory for the Qatar visa. However, it is always advised to have insurance when visiting a foreign country.

What factors can cause a delay in the processing of my visa?

Various factors can delay the processing of your visa. Some of the more common reasons include the following:

  • Not providing all the required documents.

  • Providing inaccurate documents.

  • Peak travel seasons.

  • The complexity of each application.

  • Having a criminal record.

How does having a criminal record affect the processing of my visa?

Generally, having a criminal record will delay the processing of your visa. This is because the authorities will need to conduct a background check to identify if there are any national security risks. If the authorities find no threat, they will continue processing your visa.

Can I apply for multiple visas at once?

Yes, on Atlys, you can complete multiple visas at once. This means you can apply for your friends or family members' visas along with your own. Be sure to have all the details for each applicant.

How long can I stay in Qatar with an e-visa?

With the e-visa, you can stay in Qatar for up to 30 days.

What is the Qatar visa processing time?

The Qatar visa takes about 3-5 days to process. This time can take longer if any delays occur.

Can I use the e-visa for Qatar for multiple entries?

No, the e-visa is only issued as a single entry visa. If you wish to apply for a multi-entry visa, you must visit the embassy.

Can I work in Qatar with a tourist visa?

No, the tourist visa for Qatar is only for leisure purposes. This means you can not work or conduct any employment activities in Qatar. To be employed in Qatar, you must have a valid employment visa.
