How will I know if my Indonesia e-visa is approved?
Once your Indonesia e-visa is approved, you will receive it in a PDF format via email. You are highly advised to download and print it to carry when travelling to the country, ensuring safety against any technical or digital failures at the immigration checkpoint.

My Indonesia e-visa status shows "rejected." What should I do?
If your Indonesia visa application is rejected, you must address the reason for rejection before reapplying.
The most common reasons for Indonesia visa rejection include:
Invalid passport: To apply for an Indonesian e-visa, you must have a passport with a validity of at least six months. If not, you must renew it to avoid visa rejection.
Unclear or outdated photograph: The photograph submitted with your application must be recent, clear, and meet the specific requirements outlined by the visa authorities (e.g., size and background colour).
Previous immigration violations: A history of overstaying or other immigration violations in Indonesia or another country could also affect your visa application.
Lack of funds: Some nationalities (like Pakistan and Nepal) are also required to show minimum funds of USD 2000 (or equivalent in the local currency). Insufficient funds negatively impact the visa application.
Unauthorised sponsor: Countries not eligible for an electronic visa on arrival (e-VOA) require a sponsor to apply for the Indonesia e-visa. You must apply via a sponsor who is well-versed in the application process.
