Do Indians need a business visa to visit China?
Yes, Indians require a business visa (M) to visit China for commercial and trade activities, including trade fairs, competitions, and other commercial events. You need to obtain a business visa before entering China.
However, if you want to attend the fair casually and not engage in commercial or trading activities, you can apply for a China tourist visa.

Here are the China Business Visa requirements for Indians:
Passport: Original passport with at least six months of remaining validity, at least 2 blank visa pages, a photocopy of the passport's data page and the photo page if it is separate.
Photograph: One passport photo, size 33x48mm in colour with a white background, is also required when submitting your application.
Note: You will also be required to submit additional information and documents confirming special circumstances in your visa application. For example, if invited, you will be asked to provide an invitation letter and a marriage certificate if your spouse’s name is not updated on the passport. Another example would be your highest graduation information needs to be provided in the application form.
Do I need travel insurance for my China business visa application?
No, travel insurance is not a mandatory requirement to visit China; however, it is advisable to get one to avoid any mishaps.
What should my invitation letter include for China business visa?
The invitation letter should include:
Applicant information: Full name, gender, date of birth, etc.
Visit details: Arrival and departure dates, places to be visited, accommodation arrangements, etc.
Inviting party information: Name of the organisation or individual, contact telephone number, address, official stamp of the organisation, and signature of the legal representative or individual.

Is an interview mandatory when applying for a China business visa for Indians?
